Mini Habits

Pick a habit you want to start, and make note of it in your Project Quartz journal.

Reduce the habit down until it’s so small, it’s impossible to fail at. For example:

  • If you want to exercise more, commit to doing one push up (or downward dog) each day.

  • If you want to write more, commit to writing one sentence each day.

Write this mini habit down in your journal too.

Start your mini habit.

Bonus: If you’re feeling great after you’ve completed your mini habit, ask yourself if you want to do more today. Either way, recognize that these “bonus reps” are totally optional. All that is ever expected is that you complete your mini habit.

If/when you’re inspired, feel free to reflect on the process in your Project Quartz journal.
